**Key Responsibilities:**

- Greet customers with a welcoming demeanor and assist with their inquiries.

- Accurately process transactions including cash, credit, and debit payments.

- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

- Verify the age of customers when selling age-restricted products.

- Provide product information and promote store loyalty programs.

- Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies.

- Balance the cash register at the end of your shift and report discrepancies.

- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Previous retail or cash handling experience is a plus but not required.

- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Basic computer skills to operate POS systems.

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ability to stand for extended periods.

- Comfortable handling and lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary.
