Job Description
We are looking for a diligent Billing Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing operations, processing sales orders, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to interact with vendors and customers effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Process and oversee sales orders, ensuring accurate tracking and management throughout the order cycle.
• Collaborate directly with vendors and customers to maintain seamless communication and resolve inquiries.
• Enhance office processes and procedures to improve efficiency and workflow.
• Manage accounts receivable, including customer billing, recording payments, and reconciling invoices.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to support management and business initiatives.
• Oversee customer contracts, registrations, and tracking systems.
• Maintain and utilize company applications effectively to support operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complex issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist with marketing and business projects as required by management.• High school diploma and four years of post-secondary education or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles.
• Intermediate expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a detail-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with billing functions and vendor invoice management.
• Experience with inventory analysis and Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
