Location: Dallas, TX (Extensive International Travel)

Schedule: 6 days/week, 10-hour shifts (approx. 60 hrs/wk, 20 hrs overtime)

Travel: Up to 75% (global sites across Australia, Europe, Africa, Asia)

Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance required (or ability to obtain within one year)

We're seeking an experienced Field Service Lead to support a leader in high-power RF and defense communication systems, leading installations and commissioning of advanced RF transmission and communication equipment. This position offers a hands-on, travel-heavy opportunity to work on major defense and research programs around the world, involving million-watt transmitters, ultrasonic submarine sensors, and large-scale electromagnetic coil assemblies up to 30 feet tall.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain high-power RF and microwave transmission systems used in defense and over-the-horizon radar applications.

Work from engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to assemble and test complex electro-mechanical systems.

Lead small field teams during international installation and service projects.

Perform system-level testing and field verification of RF and digital control systems.

Identify and recommend design or operational improvements based on field performance.

Handle large mechanical assemblies and fiber optic cable installations.

Maintain detailed field reports, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.

Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure successful on-site deployment.

Qualifications

Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain one within one year.

Electrical or RF background with hands-on experience in high-power, large-scale equipment installation.

Strong understanding of wiring harness assembly, control systems, and mechanical integration.

Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and assembly drawings.

Comfortable with field-based work involving extended international travel.

Prior experience in DoD, defense contracting, or similar technical field environments preferred.
