Job Description
A regional insurance office is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in multi-tasking, possess experience in a professional office environment, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and exhibit quick learning abilities and excellent communication skills. This role involves providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office. As the first point of contact, the candidate should maintain a positive attitude and a personable, professional demeanor. The candidate must be coachable, as our office encourages long-term professional growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Act as a concierge for agent support with policies, underwriting, and other issues
Assist in managing executive schedules, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, social media content and other documents.
Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing necessary arrangements.
Support special projects and events, ensuring deadlines are met and project goals are achieved.
Maintain office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Successful background check.
Compensation:
Competitive salary with experience starting at $42,000 to $45,000.
