Description
Heavy construction equipment dealer in Phoenix, AZ area seeking experienced sales representative. We are a small family-owned, non-union company with a big-company compensation and benefits package! We have locations throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona.
You will perform sales duties under the direction of the sales manager as outlined in the training plan and ongoing as follows:
Call on new customers on job sites, offices and telephone marketing
Call on our current customer base to insure that all possible business is being conducted
Complete and turn-in call reports, daily activity log and top-ten status reports of current and future activities for review
Complete sales process from prospect to close
Follow-up with customers to insure that all rental, sale, parts and service needs are being serviced and that awareness of these services are promoted
Inform customers of new products, specials and additional services
Work with sales staff to enhance and support their activities through the exchanging of leads and strategies for "getting" the business
Stay informed of customer upcoming jobs and subsequent needs
Other duties as requested

A DMV record and valid Driver's license will be required for all persons driving a Company vehicle, operating equipment, or driving their personal vehicle for Company business.
Proof of auto insurance will be required for all persons driving a Company or personal vehicle for Company business.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
A valid driver's license and current DMV printout is a requirement for all persons driving company vehicles, operating equipment or driving their own vehicle for company business.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, but may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee will be required to talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
