Process Technician

Requirements:

Deep knowledge of injection molding processes, mold design, material behavior, and process parameters.

Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and process data.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and quality improvement tools.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and take initiative on process improvements.

Responsibilites:

Set up, calibrate, and operate injection molding machines to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex process issues, including molding defects, machine malfunctions, and material inconsistencies.

Optimize molding parameters to improve cycle times, reduce scrap rates, and enhance part quality.

Conduct root cause analysis on process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams to support new product launches, process changes, and tooling modifications.

Mentor and train junior technicians on equipment operation, process control, and quality standards.

Maintain detailed and accurate process documentation, including machine setup records, SPC data, and quality reports.

Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.

Full-time
