Mechanical Design Engineer Packaging Systems

A US based manufacturer of shrink sleeve and inspection systems for the packaging industry is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

Position will be based out of the corporate offices in Connecticut and the shift will be flexible between 6AM-5PM based on candidate preference.

This role will be responsible for designing and developing custom assemblies/machinery.

This role will utilize AutoCAD and Inventor to create drawings for installations and builds.

Testing and assembly support will also be keys to this role.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, mechatronics, or other related engineering field.

Candidates must have experience with highly automated machinery from packaging, printing, processing, robotics, or related automation.

Position will have a salary between $100K-$120K and will offer full benefits including 401K matching program and great health program.
