Senior Mechanical Engineer

A U.S.

based manufacturer of packaging equipment is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its team.

Candidates must be in or near Hartford Connecticut or willing to relocate to the area.

Position should expect to travel the continental US about 20% of the time to meet clients.

This position will oversee 3-7 direct reports and will be expected to be a hands-on leader.

Candidates must have 5-10 years of experience working with custom built capital equipment design.

Experience with computer programs such as Autodesk, Solidworks, and Avante will put you in the front of the line.

Design experience is key.

Must have a mechanical, electrical, engineering, mechatronics, or related degree those with multiple years of experience will also be considered.

Must be capable of working in groups and have experience working with custom builds.

This position will interact with clients on a regular basis and candidate must poses excellent customer service skills.

Position will be pay between $80K-$90K and company has full benefit plan with 401K match.
