We are looking for an experienced Operation Engineer to join our interdisciplinary Agile team. You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving legacy on-premises infrastructure (Linux, Oracle DBA, Apache, Tomcat) while supporting migration to modern cloud-based solutions such as Azure DataBricks.
You will have an opportunity to become a part of the delivery team for one of our key Customers in the Airspace Industry, dealing with Air Traffic Management, Flight planning and Air Traffic Control capacity planning.
Our Customer has embarked on the multi-year journey of IT landscape modernisation to increase efficiency of the European Air Traffic Management systems under the most critical programme in European public sector area.
Working as a part of the team you will be engaged in the delivery of cutting-edge IT systems supporting pan-European aviation and shaping the future of European Air Traffic Management.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and support of production environments
Execution of operational and infrastructure-related User Stories
Participation in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives)
Translation of infrastructure requirements into backlog items
Coordination with external production stakeholders
Identification and escalation of impediments
Implementation and monitoring of infrastructure resources
Contribution to incident and problem management (TTF/TTR)
Ensuring compliance with architecture, security, and scalability standards
Supporting deployments and defining Quality Gates
Promoting DevOps best practices and operational excellence within the team
Onsite work requires approximately 30 days per year
Required Qualifications:
At least 4+ years’ experience with required technology stack
Experience with Linux, Oracle DBA, Apache, Tomcat
Familiarity with cloud migration (preferably Azure DataBricks)
Understanding of DevOps principles and Agile methodologies
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong communication skills in English
Proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset
Advantageous: experience in production support, scripting, and monitoring tools
