This is a Level 2 trauma center providing comprehensive orthopedic and trauma services to the Rio Grande Valley community. The facility features state-of-the-art surgical equipment and a collaborative team environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Details:
• Must maintain active Texas medical license
• Board certification required
• ATLS certification preferred but not mandatory
• Must have completed 32 hours of trauma CME in the past 24 months
• Expected to attend at least 50% of trauma committee meetings
• Preferred experience with arthroscopic procedures
• Preferred experience with total joint replacements (hip, knee, and others)
• Preferred skills in joint revision or repair (shoulder, hip, knee, and others)
• Preferred experience with hand surgery and tendon release/repair
• Preferred skills in peripheral nerve surgery
• Preferred experience with spinal procedures with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
• Preferred experience with percutaneous disc surgery
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 20 days
• Fellowship trained preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
