Personal Support Worker - Home Support

A Permanent Full-Time position for a Personal Support Worker - Home Support is in need in Calgary, Alberta.

Duties include:

Provide care and companionship for individuals and families during periods of incapacitation, convalescence or family disruption

Assist in regular exercise e.g. walking

May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds.

Work Condition and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks and attention to detail

Wages and Benefits: Wages of $20.85 per hour, for 32-40 hours per week.

Work Experience: Must have at least 1 year experience caring with Autistic ADHD (Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) adult. Must have a strong command in English language both written and oral communication.

Education: Some Secondary School Education is usually required. College or other courses in home support may be required. Completion of a training program in care of Autism and ADHD (Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) or in a related field may be required. First Aid Certification is required.
