As an Associate Site Merchant, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of digital merchandising strategies that drive conversion, engagement, and revenue across Bathandbodyworks.com. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in product merchandising, creative, marketing, and digital operations to ensure a seamless and inspiring customer journey. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about eCommerce.

Responsibilities

Site Strategy & Execution

Support the seasonal site strategy for assigned categories, aligning with marketing and merchandising goals to drive digital sales.

Assist in planning and executing product and category launches, ensuring accurate product mapping, attribution, and discoverability.

Own the QA process for category and homepage updates, validating content accuracy and functionality before go-live.

Customer Experience Optimization

Analyze customer behavior and site performance to identify opportunities for improving navigation, taxonomy, and internal search.

Partner with UX/UI and testing teams to support site optimization initiatives and A/B testing strategies.

Act as a site power user, identifying and escalating bugs or friction points in the customer journey.

Campaign & Content Management

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain curated landing pages for seasonal campaigns (e.g., Holiday, Valentine’s Day).

Manage homepage refreshes and featured placements, ensuring alignment with brand and business priorities.

Analytics & Insights

Regularly review digital metrics to evaluate the performance of site merchandising tactics.

Provide actionable insights to improve KPIs such as conversion rate, engagement rate, and click-through rate.

Innovation & Best Practices

Stay informed on competitive landscape and emerging eCommerce trends.

Identify process improvements and new merchandising opportunities using content management system capabilities.

2–4 years of experience in eCommerce merchandising

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.

Proficiency in content management systems and digital tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working cross-functionally.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.

A customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional digital experiences.

Flexibility to support site updates during off-business hours when needed.
