Technical Application (1-year fixed term contractor)

**Main Responsibilities:**

The position serves as the primary contact for clarifying reagent report interpretation and troubleshooting; providing reagent correlation and application; as well as technical education for customers before and after instrument installation. It also provides support to the sales and service team for business growth. The main job responsibility will be:

+ Deliver Customer Operator training in Abbott facilities or on-site

+ Perform new instrument and assay implementations through to Test of Record

+ On-site assay investigation, troubleshooting and operator training and coaching

**Skills & Experience Required:**

+ Bachelor degree in medical technology, biological science or medical related is preferred

+ Proven track record in a Diagnostic laboratory or similar position, supported by management and customer references preferred or Graduate entry program.

+ Successful engagement with customers, specifically lab staff.

+ Technical Assay and system expert for product line responsibility

+ Highly developed communication skills and ability to demonstrate empathy and engagement with customers

+ Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues

+ Strong experience in use of analytical tools and software

+ Knowledge of laboratory accreditation requirements is a plus.
