Bootfitter (Entry level, Experienced)
General Duties:
Utilize in-house measurement techniques and procedures to select appropriate ski boots for our demo ski boot customers.
Prepare and fabricate customer footbeds.
Modify and adjust ski boots/ski liners using biomechanics knowledge and application of in-house standards.
Maintain current binding certifications.
Retail Sales of ski boots, skis, bindings and other accessories.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
Maintain all boot shop keeping procedures and assist with general store keeping.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a ski shop and ski bootfitting environment preferred.
Retail Sales experience highly preferred.
Knowledge of Snowsports industry products, with emphasis on skiing.
Experience with POS and Rental Reservation software is preferred.
Ability to multitask in a high paced environment.
Enjoys working in a team environment and helping other departments when needed.
Desire to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
Capable of standing, walking for extended periods, and lifting moderate weight (<50 lbs).
Preference will be given to those seeking full-time employment; part-time will be considered with a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.
Education:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of human biomechanics and/or biophysics of skiing preferred; individuals demonstrating interest in learning will be trained.
Compensation: $20-24/hr DOE
