Position Summary:

Provides daily quoting and consulting support for non-specified commercial and residential projects as well as comprehensive sales support directly to all Territory Managers, Store Personnel and assigned/unassigned accounts. Specifically, this support will include product application & selection assistance, product substitution, pricing quotes, conversion of quotes to system orders, submittal requests as appropriate, and any other related support functions that would ensure an internal or external customer receives a positive experience. As the specialist in this functional area, the incumbent will also train, coach, mentor and help develop our sales force and customers by sharing product knowledge. This position also assists in a direct sales and customer service role by identifying and maintaining selected high-profile customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for quoting, supporting and entering orders for all residential and commercial equipment, parts & supplies and accessories to all accounts both assigned and unassigned.

Collect money for all C.O.D. orders and service including warranty returns for replacement.

Responsible for providing quote & consulting support to all Territory Managers, Store Personnel and CSR’s and needed.

Makes outgoing sales calls (telephone/email) to customer accounts (as required) for purposes of account growth and issues related to product support.

Responsible for accuracy of all orders entered.

Keep orders in trend up to date and accurate. Continually review open orders and cancel when appropriate.

Works with all associates to discuss account activities and enhance the flow orders.

Utilize required software (Quote Builder and SAP) to develop equipment selections and quotes.

Assumes responsibility for accurate product application support, quoting, submitting and price page correction for all orders entered.

Insures his/her personal product knowledge is current.

Fully knowledgeable in the TREND system in order to perform stock status searched, direct purchase orders, price quote inquires, order entry, warehouse transfers, etc.

Fulfills TM and customer sales/products-data literature requests when needed.

Decision Making Responsibility/Authority:

Receives clear and specific instructions and/or follows standardized instructions or procedures without ongoing supervision. Work is checked for accuracy, adequacy and adherence to instructions. Consults with supervisor on matters not covered in the original instructions or by guidelines. Handles some unusual situations independently.

Knowledge and Experience:

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Minimum 1 year of experience as a CSR, Counter Sales or other Customer Service position within a HVAC/R environment

Certified HARDI – HEAT U. Counter Specialist Assistant

Certified Totaline FAP Counterperson Elite

Proficient with MS Office Products (Word, Excel & Outlook)
