We are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in Kidderminster.

This vital role involves supporting children with their learning and general wellbeing to ensure they have the best opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment.

What Youll Be Doing (Key Duties): Your main purpose is to support the Class Teacher in all areas of the day:to:day running of the class.

Key accountabilities include: * Pupil Welfare and Safeguarding: You will take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils according to school policies.

This includes supporting positive behaviour, promoting spiritual, moral, social, and cultural (SMSC) development, and ensuring a high standard of personal care for the pupils.

You will attend to pupils personal needs when required, including toileting, hygiene, dressing and eating.

* Supporting Teaching and Learning: You will implement learning activities and reinforce learning concepts as agreed with the teacher.

Youll support the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum, aiming for pupils to achieve their full potential.

* Pupil Attainment and Progress: Work with children to support their learning, providing further explanation where needed.

Youll help collate evidence and information that supports pupils attainment and progress and work co:operatively with colleagues, parents/carers, and other professionals.

* Monitoring and Recording: You will participate in the evaluation of learning activities and work towards providing meaningful feedback on pupil attainment and progress.

What Were Looking For: We are seeking someone with a strong commitment to the role, a desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual.

Skills and Experience: * Essential: You must have good numeracy and literacy skills, and competent ICT skills.

You should be able to work on your own as well as part of a team, and work collaboratively with other staff and professionals.

You must be flexible, adaptable, and solution focused.

You also must be able to work within the parameters of the physical demands of the job role.

* Desirable: Relevant knowledge and experience of pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs). Experience of managing a range of approaches to behaviour, including behaviours that challenge.

Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.

Experience working within education or within a multi:cultural, inclusive setting is advantageous.

Requirements of the Role: * Eligibility to work within the UK.

* Satisfactory Enhanced DBS with barred list checks.

* Be able to meet the demands of what can be physically challenging work at times.
