Neuro Stroke Physiotherapist

JustPhysio are looking to recruit a band 6 Neuro Stroke Physiotherapist for a locum position with our client in Essex.

The pay for this position is GBP25 : GBP28 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an on : going duration.

It is essential for applicants to have a minimum of 1:year post:graduate experience, right to work in the UK and HCPC registration.

Job Description: The role will involve providing, and overseeing, the Physiotherapy delivery of Stroke and Neurological Rehabilitation in an inpatient ward as well as a community setting within the Stroke Early Supported Discharge Team (ESD). We are looking for someone with considerable post:graduate neurological and community experience who is keen to continue expanding and developing their skills.

The ideal candidate will have postgraduate training within neurology, the ability to effectively manage a complex caseload of patients, excellent time management skills and knowledge and experience of a leadership role.

To undertake a comprehensive assessment and management of patients who may have had a stroke, neurological and/or complex conditions including multi pathology.

Use well developed clinical reasoning to select appropriate assessment techniques, which leads to determining a clinical diagnosis of the patients needs.

This will involve seeking and sharing personal and potentially sensitive information with the patient.
