Overview: A reputable construction company is seeking a qualified and experienced Construction Manager to oversee the on-site management and execution of the Kwanyamazane Primary School project in Mtubatuba.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
Minimum Requirements: National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering (essential) Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in construction management, preferably on building or educational infrastructure projects Strong leadership and people management skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project Excellent communication and reporting abilities Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities on site Ensure work is executed according to design drawings, specifications, and safety standards Compile and submit progress reports to management and project stakeholders Liaise with engineers, consultants, and the client to ensure smooth coordination Attend and represent the contractor in site and project meetings Manage site personnel, subcontractors, SMME's and resources efficiently Ensure that all quality, cost, and timeline objectives are met Be stationed full-time on site for the duration of the project Please send your resume/CV
