Job Summary

Looking for a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a book of business, with a focus on small businesses, contractors, restaurants, and bonds. This is an onsite position offering a collaborative and fun team environment with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Compensation Package

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually

Responsibilities

Effectively manage a book of business.

Handle daily service tasks, including quoting new and renewal business.

Collaborate with the sales team to assist with marketing placements.

Work with carriers such as Grange, Auto Owners, Pekin, Progressive, Travelers, and Liberty.

Provide exceptional customer service to clients in industries such as small businesses, contractors (HVAC, plumbing, etc.), restaurants, and bonds.

Qualifications/Requirements

Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in commercial insurance; 5 years preferred.

Software Knowledge: Proficiency in HawkSoft is highly desirable.

Soft Skills: Strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Work Environment: Must be able to work onsite; no remote or hybrid options available.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven ability to manage a large book of business efficiently.

Leadership potential to grow into a Department Manager role.

Familiarity with the carriers and industries listed above.
