Job summary

The Process Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. This role focuses on optimizing processes, improving productivity, and ensuring operational efficiency through best-in-class methodologies. PE owns the performance data analytics, line settings process, changeover process and problem solving for their lines. They are responsible for building technical capability in operators.

Key Accountabilities

Owns stops and performance data analytics for the line, providing stops, MTBS (Mean Time Between Stoppages), OEE data for meetings and supporting the line team with further analytics for line workflows and problem-solving sessions.

Continuous development of performance analytics tools.

Support digital transformation (e.g., data analytics, automation).

Responsible for the settings and changeover process for the line; includes deployment, execution, reporting the KPI for meetings and continuous improvement of the process.

Leads SMED (Single Minutes Exchange of Dies) workshops for the line to improve the changeover process

Owns the problem-solving process for the line, providing subject matter support to the line team and operators.

Supports building technical capability in operators and trains operators on processes.

Plan and coordinate maintenance activities executed directly by machine manufacturers, ensuring compliance with operational needs and minimizing disruption

Manage line settings and changeover processes, ensuring smooth deployment.

Provide technical training and capability building for operators and line staff.

Run mini-projects for production line improvements, from concept to implementation.

Leading a digital transformation project focused on integrating digital tools across the factory

Required Qualifications

Bsc in electrical or mechanical engineering or in automation.

Knowledge of industrial automation and programming PLC.

Very good knowledge of English (written & spoken).

Proficiency in PC based software tools (Microsoft Office Suite).

Interpersonal Competencies

Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Hands-on approach with a strong presence on the shop floor.

Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.

Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
