• Employment Status: Permanent full time/part time

• Location: Charters Towers & Surrounding Areas

• Remuneration: $35.51 p/hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM's) + Employee discounts.

BlueCare's specialised palliative care services is growing throughout Queensland. Joining our team, you will be at the forefront of BlueCare's transformative journey to expand palliative care services across the state. This unique opportunity offers:

We currently have an opportunity for a Personal Carer to join the team in Maryborough. You will provide care to your palliative care clients living in the community, supporting their end of life wishes and improving their quality of life.

Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities

In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing

Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan

Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

You will be well supported by the palliative care and the wider BlueCare community service teams, so support is always there! Importantly, you will contribute significantly to our core belief that every Queenslander deserves the highest standard of palliative care within the comfort of their own home.

Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification

Current Australian drivers licence and roadworthy vehicle as required (Applicable only for Personal - Carer - Community Aged Care)

Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc

Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
