Job Summary:
Tandy Leather is seeking an experienced multi-unit retail leader to oversee approximately 12–15 stores across the Mountain West Region. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing multiple locations, developing high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence. If you’re a hands-on leader who thrives in a creative, customer-focused environment, we want to hear from you. Craft or specialty retail experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and inspire store teams to deliver exceptional results in sales, margin, and customer experience.
Drive business results through strategic analysis, planning, and execution of store initiatives.
Oversee P&L performance, labor management, and operational efficiencies across multiple locations.
Partner with internal teams including Marketing, HR, Product, and Finance to deliver on company initiatives.
Foster a customer-first culture that reflects Tandy’s commitment to quality and creativity.
Ensure all stores maintain brand and visual standards to enhance the in-store experience.
Build strong relationships with customers, store leaders, and team members to drive loyalty and success.
Qualifications
Multi-unit retail management experience is required
5–8 years of progressive retail leadership experience.
3–5 years of full P&L management experience with proven success in driving sales and profitability.
Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams across multiple locations.
Strong analytical and business acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the Mountain West Region.
Experience in craft, hobby, or specialty retail environments is highly desirable.
