22.5 Hours & Permanent

Salary: Up to £46,250.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.

This is a Part time role for 22.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.

Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.

Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.

Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students, offering guidance and informal supervision.

Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records in line with HCPC, CSP, and local policy.

Participate in audits, service evaluations, and quality improvement projects.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.

Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.

Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.

Commitment to team working and service improvement.

Minimal 3 years post grad experience in the outpatient setting treating both musculoskeletal and post operative patient required.

Previously experience of orthopaedic and other ward based rehabilitation would be an advantage as there is on call as part of the post.
