System Engineer Level 1

Certifications - A+, MCSP, CAN, CCNA, CLA or equivalent experience

General Skill Set:

Ability to install Network operating system and perform simple operating system upgrades (not requiring any data or application movement/migration).

Basic operating system troubleshooting

Standard network/local printing and print queue installation and management.

General network Administration (adding users, groups, shares, printers).

Server hardware configuration.

Rack device installations and cable management.

SCSI attached storage subsystems.

Implementation of Patch process for individual NOS.

Non configurable/non manageable switch installations.

Stand-alone Tape drive installations.

Approved server based (non-enterprise) tape backup software installation and configuration

General server diagramming and documentation
