As the Head of Product in our retail company, you will be responsible for leading and managing all digital initiatives and transformation of the group, omni-channels and loyalty program in Vietnam. Your primary goal will be to develop, maintain digital strategies, roadmap and implementation plan and alignment business and operation
Responsibilities:
1. Digital Strategy and Roadmap:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of current business, direction and operation process to design the required technology initiatives, develop roadmaps and prioritize fitting with the situations.
Ideate new digital initiatives to drive for business growth, technology and process optimization and synergy across all of the business units under group.
Ability to analyze the feasibility and usability of the technology, products or platform to fit with company or business direction or not.
Work with senior stakeholders to provide feedback and analysis including POC for new digital initiatives.
Work with technology partners on the digital initiative validation, solution analysis, project plan alignment, go-to-market plan and related cost.
2. Business Requirements Gathering:
Work closely with key stakeholders to develop product business cases.
Prioritize requirements and align with all other teams around a product or large-scale release through primary user research and workshops.
Collaborate with business units, support functions and IT team to find best solutions that can be delivered in time and cost sensitive manner.
Analyze product and business dependency with rough estimation and time to market.
Analyze impact from requirement to cost of development and development effort
3. Product Development Leadership:
Define, maintain and develop Product strategy and roadmap for the implementation and rollout.
Collaborate with engineering team members on requirements, scope definition, and statement of work
Define product prototyping and design detail for UX/UI designer to develop product detail design and style guide.
Manage stakeholders' expectations while building credibility through a strong business sense.
Ability to deal with resource and budgeting issues.
Instruct and direct the team of product owners on the synergy of product roadmaps, implementation plan, release plan and communication from product requirement to development team.
Coaching a team of product owners on career development, skills and building team working culture.
4. Ongoing Delivery and Support Management:
Develop and implement product launch plans from rollout to technical and non-technical service delivery teams
Expand reach and effectiveness of existing products including making recommendations for new execution and support models as well as technological improvements
Work closely with operation and change management to develop operational processes, practice, handbook and FAQ for operation and customer service.
Take responsibility for immediate action to react to customer feedback after product launches or major releases.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, IT management or related IT fields. A masters degree in business management or marketing would be a plus.
Proven track record of success in developing and managing product management teams, especially the retail industry would be a plus, with at least 5-year experience in a managerial or leadership position.
Experience with e-commerce or loyalty program platforms or CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards related to retail and loyalty programs
Knowledge in online e-commerce and mobile applications.
Experience in Consulting company would be a plus
