Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage resources, schedules, and budgets while ensuring quality standards are met. Based in Westerville, Ohio, this is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize established project management tools to effectively plan, execute, and monitor project progress while meeting quality, financial, and schedule objectives.
• Define resource needs and collaborate with functional leaders to develop organizational resource plans.
• Coordinate with departments such as order management, production, logistics, contracting, and warranty services to ensure seamless project execution.
• Address potential conflicts proactively and escalate issues to prevent impacts on project timelines or customer satisfaction.
• Maintain clear communication with field teams, ensuring alignment on project scope, budget, and schedules.
• Conduct periodic site visits to build relationships with contractors and customer representatives, ensuring smooth communication and project understanding.
• Identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring stakeholders are informed and solutions are implemented effectively.
• Track and report project performance, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Manage financial aspects of the project, including cost budgeting, expense tracking, and maintaining profit margins.
• Promote a culture of safety by hosting regular safety meetings and ensuring compliance with safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in project management within construction, engineering, or related industries.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to lead meetings and deliver presentations.
• Proficiency in budgeting processes, financial tracking, and maintaining project margins.
• Familiarity with logistics, production, and contracting processes.
• Ability to use project monitoring tools and create visual reports such as charts and graphs.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts is a plus.
