Pediatric Registered Nurse (In-Home Care)

Location: Middletown, NY

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Per-Diem

Compensation: $49.00 – $52.00 per hourAbout Sunshine Homecare

We're currently seeking a compassionate Pediatric RN to provide one-on-one in-home care for an amazing young boy. He is non-verbal but expressive, playful, and full of joy-with the brightest smile that will light up your day.

Weekday Evenings: 4:00pm – 12:00am

Weekday Overnights: 12:00am – 6:30am

Weekends: Flexible open availabilityClinical Experience Required:

G-Tube feeding

Catheterizations

Nebulizer treatments

Epi-Pen administration

Seizure precautions / epilepsy supervisionKey Responsibilities:

Deliver direct pediatric nursing care in the home setting.

Administer prescribed medications and treatments.

Monitor, document, and report client's health status.

Respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions.

Manage and maintain medical devices (feeding tubes, catheters, etc.).

Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers.

Follow the individualized care plan set by the RN Case Manager and physician.

Ensure compliance with infection control and safety procedures.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation.Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program

Active New York State RN license in good standing

Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience preferred

Homecare or community health experience a plus

Current CPR certificationSkills & Abilities:

Strong pediatric care skills

Excellent communication with children and families

Ability to remain calm in emergencies

Detail-oriented and organized documentation habits
