Overview
The Manlift Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of aerial work platforms (AWPs), including boom lifts and scissor lifts, to elevate personnel and materials on the job site. This role is crucial for enabling high-reach construction, maintenance, and inspection activities, specifically within the demanding environment of the Oil & Gas Field.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Operation: Operate manlift equipment in a safe and skilled manner to hoist workers and materials to and from elevated work areas.
Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct pre-operation safety checks (daily/weekly) on the manlift, including controls, hydraulic systems, tires, and safety devices, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
Site Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company and project-specific safety policies, procedures, and permits (e.g., Permit-to-Work).
Coordination: Effectively communicate with ground personnel, riggers, and supervisors to ensure safe operations around obstacles and other heavy equipment.
Equipment Care: Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the manlift unit.
Site Setup: Assist with the safe mobilization, positioning, and stabilization of the manlift at various worksites.
Requirements
Total Experience: 5 Years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas Field is mandatory.
Number of Positions: The requirement is for 14 Manlift Operators.
Work Schedule: Must be available to work 10 hours, 6 days a week.
Language: Any language preference is acceptable.
