Join a global company with international exposure as a Residence Manager for Summer 2026! In this vital leadership role, you’ll oversee all student residences, ensuring they run smoothly and feel like a true home away from home. You’ll manage and support a team of Residence Advisors, making sure they’re fully trained, confident, and ready to deliver excellent care and service to our international students. You’ll also coordinate student room allocations, handle any residence-related issues, and work closely with suppliers and the wider summer management team to maintain high standards of safety, organization, and student satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

- Lead, train, and support a team of Residence Advisors, ensuring they deliver an outstanding residence experience for all students.

- Oversee all aspects of student accommodation across multiple residences.

- Manage student allocations and ensure all rooms are ready before the summer season begins.

- Work closely with the operations and student services teams to ensure smooth arrivals, check-ins, and departures.

- Support Residence Advisors in handling emergencies, welfare issues, and daily operational challenges.

- Maintain regular communication with residence staff and external accommodation partners.

- Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.

- Monitor residence-related administration, including occupancy records and incident reporting.

- Visit residences regularly to provide on-site support, feedback, and motivation to your team.

- Help organize residence activities or social evenings to build community spirit among students.

Who You Are

- A confident leader with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

- Experienced in team supervision, customer service, or hospitality management.

- Calm, practical, and able to handle emergencies with a level head.

- Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.

- A strong communicator who enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds.

- Proactive and flexible, equally comfortable working in the office or on-site at a residence.

- Fluent in English (C1–C2 level); additional languages are a plus.

- Legally able to work in the host country (EU passport or valid work permit).

- Passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable living environment for students.

Details:

- Duration: Contract starting from the middle of May till August (preferred)

- Schedule: Full-time, 6-day work weeks on shift bases, including evenings and weekends.

- Safeguarding: All roles are subject to police conduct checks and character reference checks.

- Eligibility: Must legally be able to work in Malta with a Maltese or EU passport. Has a high level of English.

- Must be available for training dates before start date. Mandatory training in Malta will be happening sometime between the middle and end of May. Specific dates to come soon.
