Join a global company with international exposure as a Centre Manager for Summer 2026! In this leadership role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a small and dynamic summer school for students aged 9–13. From the moment students arrive until their departure, you’ll ensure that all departments work together smoothly to deliver a safe, organized, and truly unforgettable experience. Working closely with your management team, you’ll lead with confidence, care, and professionalism — creating an inspiring environment for both staff and students from around the world.

What You’ll Do

- Take overall responsibility for the daily operations of the summer school, ensuring all departments run efficiently and collaboratively.

- Lead and support a diverse team of department coordinators, including Academics, Activities, Accommodation, and Student Services.

- Oversee student welfare, maintaining a safe and supportive environment at all times.

- Handle disciplinary matters calmly and fairly, following EF guidelines and safeguarding standards.

- Participate in the emergency phone rota and respond effectively to any incidents or urgent situations.

- Ensure clear communication between teams and promote a positive, solution-oriented workplace.

- Monitor schedules, staffing levels, and resource allocation to guarantee smooth operations.

- Liaise regularly with the Summer Management Team and headquarters to align on standards and objectives.

- Represent EF with professionalism when interacting with students, staff, suppliers, and visiting partners.

- Take ownership of creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for every student and team member.

Who You Are

- A confident leader with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

- Experienced in team management and capable of coordinating multiple departments simultaneously.

- Calm, decisive, and proactive — able to handle challenges and emergencies with composure.

- Passionate about working with young learners and ensuring their safety and well-being.

- A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving and people management skills.

- Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.

- Fluent in English (C1–C2 level); other languages are an advantage.

- Legally able to work in Malta (EU passport or valid work permit).

Details:

- Duration: Contract starting from beginning of May till mid August (preferred)

- Schedule: Full-time, 6-day work weeks on shift bases, including evenings and weekends.

- Safeguarding: All roles are subject to police conduct checks and character reference checks.

- Eligibility: Must legally be able to work in Malta with a Maltese or EU passport. Has a high level of English.
