Do you enjoy connecting with people and working in a fast-moving, multicultural environment? Join EF Malta as a Homestay Intern for Summer 2026 and support the Homestay Manager in coordinating one of the most important aspects of our students’ experience — their accommodation. You’ll help ensure that every homestay placement runs smoothly, from student arrivals to departures, while learning the behind-the-scenes operations of an international education company.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the Homestay Manager with daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Help manage student and homestay allocations, ensuring all placements are accurate and up to date.
- Communicate with host families to confirm schedules, updates, and student arrivals.
- Support arrival and departure processes, including preparing welcome packs and schedules.
- Handle basic inquiries from host families and students with professionalism and care.
- Update and maintain records in EF’s internal systems.
- Support in resolving issues or last-minute changes alongside the Homestay Manager.
- Contribute to creating a warm, supportive atmosphere for both families and students.
Who You Are
- A university student completing an internship as part of your degree program.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong communication and administrative skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and confident speaking with people from different cultures.
- Calm under pressure and capable of handling sensitive or urgent situations.
- Fluent in English (B2 level minimum); other languages are a plus.
- Legally eligible to work in Malta without EF sponsorship.
Internship Details
- Duration: 2–3 months (preferred), June to August 2026
- Compensation: Unpaid; full board provided
- Accommodation: Shared housing provided by EF
