IT Architect

As an IT Architect you will translate business objectives into strategic technology plans that support core organizational functions and ensure high availability. Your goal will be to propose, develop, and implement architecture solutions that align with enterprise principles and standards across applications, hardware, and software. Your success will be defined by your ability to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that meet business needs while maintaining architectural integrity.

Your Responsibilities:

Provide leadership of the overall solution design and configuration systems and supporting applications within area of responsibility

Participate in the assessment and definition of Technology application architecture strategies, principles, policies and standards for operations or projects

Support the design, development and prototyping of innovative application solutions that align with business strategies or solve business problems and develop technical specifications for new products/services, infrastructure, applications and service offerings

Assess the compatibility and integration of proposed products/services to ensure an integrated architecture across technologies

Develop project and technology roadmaps and define migration plans to mitigate the gaps between the current and future state

Maintain positive relationships with Technology and business leaders to effectively promote, advise, and communicate the Technology architecture value proposition

Your Skills:

Extensive experience architecting within complex environments across applications

Adept at modeling information using defined standards and applying industry development techniques to create or modify IT solutions

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities with a structured approach to incident and problem resolution

Highly adaptable, customer-focused, and effective under pressure with excellent communication skills and a keen sense of urgency

Your Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent would be preferred

10 years of experience, including 7+ years working in a mature procedural environment related to system architecture, design, development, and deployment, with familiarity in TOGAF frameworks and certification as a valuable asset

Skilled in project management methodologies and designing secure systems aligned with best practices, particularly within low to medium complexity project environments
