Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Shift: 1st with Flexibility for some weekends and nights

Key Responsibilities:

Machinery and Equipment Maintenance: Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery, such as CNC machines, saws, sanders, and other woodworking equipment. This includes troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.

Facility Upkeep: Handling general building maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. This also involves routine inspections of the facility to ensure it is in good working order and complies with safety regulations.

Preventative Maintenance (PM): Developing and executing preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment operates efficiently and reliably. This can involve tasks like lubricating machinery, replacing filters, and inspecting belts and motors.

Safety and Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, and ensuring the work environment is safe. Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.

Collaboration: Working with other departments, such as production and operations, to address maintenance needs and support process improvement initiatives.
