Our company is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Permanent Controller to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing SaaS/AI company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operations, including audits, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and compliance with AC 606 revenue recognition standards. This position offers a unique chance to be a part of a team that is at the forefront of the adtech industry and artificial intelligence technology.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all company accounting practices, including preparing financial statements, forecasting, and budgeting.

Ensure compliance with AC 606 revenue recognition standards and manage audits.

Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.

Develop and implement financial controls and systems that are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.

Oversee the production of monthly reports, financial statements, and cash flow projections for senior leadership.

Manage and monitor all aspects of our financial operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

Collaborate with the executive team to develop strategic plans for the company's financial future.

Support the executive team with key financial information and operational analytics to drive business and strategy decisions.

Evaluate and manage risk, implement financial controls, and ensure the company's financial systems and processes are robust, compliant, and support both current activities and future growth.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in a SaaS/AI or adtech environment.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA or MBA preferred.

Extensive knowledge and experience with AC 606 revenue recognition standards.

Proven experience with financial audits, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).

Strong understanding of SaaS business models, AI, and adtech.

Proven ability to develop and implement financial controls and systems.

Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate complex financial data into clear and actionable business insights.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work well with senior leadership.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
