Job Title: Material Handler

Material Handler Pay: $19.00

Material Handler Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, plus OT

Material Handler Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Material Handler for a 3-month contract opportunity with our client, a life sciences organization in Richmond, Ca! The Material Handler’s main role will be supporting the distribution in all material handling functions.

The Material Handler job responsibilities:

Pre-packing and packing outbound shipments

Sorting, segregating, and staging outbound parcels

Stacking and loading pallets

Preparing cold chain parcels with refrigerants

Labeling and marking outbound cartons

The Material Handler job requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent desired.

Related experience with a warehouse facility

Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions.

Basic computer skills in applicable programs, Use of RF scanning device

Self motivated to get the job done right the first time.

Experience and ability to operate pallet jacks or applicable equipment utilized in the workplace.

Basic problem solving skills, Good communication skills.

Ability to prioritize work While being flexible and adaptable

Ability to lift 50 lb items.

Steel Toed work boots required
