Salary/Bonuses: £36,554.10 + 30% Shift Allowance + Overtime Available

NEOS Engineering are partnered with a leading provider of plant and equipment maintenance services, supporting key clients across construction, recycling, and infrastructure sectors. Due to continued business growth and new contracts secured for 2025, we are seeking experienced Heavy Plant Fitters to join their skilled workshop team. The Role

Inspect, service, and repair a wide range of heavy plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, loading shovels, and crushers.

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults, carrying out effective repairs and preventative maintenance.

Undertake component overhauls, rebuilds, and system calibrations.

Prepare equipment for site use, ensuring all machinery meets safety and operational standards.

Maintain accurate service documentation and workshop records.

Support both workshop and field-based repair activities as required.

Work a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern (days and nights - 12 hours).

The Candidate

Time-served or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Plant, Construction, or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).

Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Heavy Plant Mechanic, or Mobile Plant Engineer.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Safety-focused, self-motivated, and able to work independently or within a team.

Good communication and organisational abilities.

Full UK Driving Licence (CSCS card or additional plant tickets advantageous).
