We are a true International IT provider and are proud to deliver our services through global simplicity with trusted transparency.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

We are seeking a Breakfix Supervisor to support and lead hardware repair and troubleshooting operations within our data center environments. This role bridges the gap between technician and lead, combining deep technical expertise with coordination and mentorship responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with server, storage, and network hardware, and capable of guiding junior technicians while ensuring SLA-driven service delivery.

This position involves rotational shifts to support 24/7/365 operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform hands-on repairs and replacement of defective hardware components including drives, memory, NICs, PSUs, fans, and motherboards.

Execute diagnostics using CLI tools (e.g., Cisco IOS, NX-OS, Linux shell) to identify and resolve system and network issues.

Troubleshoot Layer 1–3 network issues, including port failures, link flaps, and misconfigurations.

Support lifecycle management of hardware components, from installation and troubleshooting to decommissioning and recycling.

Conduct physical inspections and routine maintenance on data center equipment to ensure operational reliability.

Coordinate with OEM vendors for RMA processes, part replacements, and warranty claims.

Maintain accurate documentation of repair activities, incident resolution, and system updates.

Assist in managing ticket queues and ensuring SLA adherence through effective prioritization and escalation.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior technicians, promoting best practices and safety compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams during infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and maintenance windows.

Participate in emergency response efforts to address urgent hardware issues.

Work rotational shifts to support 24/7/365 service (8 to 10 hr. shifts; 3 to 4 days per week; 2 to 3 days off).

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

Associate degree or technical diploma in electronics, computer hardware, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in breakfix support, hardware diagnostics, and repair in enterprise environments.

Strong proficiency with CLI-based tools and environments (e.g., Cisco CLI, Linux/Unix shell, iDRAC, iLO).

Familiarity with hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and x86 servers.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in high-availability environments.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel between data center sites as needed.

Ability to lift and maneuver equipment up to 50 pounds.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, Dell EMC, or equivalent vendor-specific credentials.

Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) and asset management platforms.

Familiarity with scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, Python) is a plus.

Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment with on-call responsibilities.
