About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with our SSDI attorney to assist clients through all stages of the disability claims process—from initial intake to hearing preparation and post-decision follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and filing SSDI applications and appeals
Draft correspondence, legal documents, and case summaries
Communicate with clients, medical providers, and government agencies
Organize and maintain case files and documentation
Schedule appointments, hearings, and follow-ups
Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of required materials
Support attorney in hearing preparation and client interviews
Qualifications:
Prior experience in SSDI or disability law preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
Compassionate and professional demeanor when working with clients
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
