GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for assembling custom designed production forms to blueprint specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reads production drawings/blueprints and construct wooden forms and block outs with close tolerance to specifications

Must have clear knowledge of basic measurements and the ability to read a tape measure within 16th of an inch

Must be able to use a wide variety of tools, including but not limited to staple gun, brad nailer, hammer, measuring tape, pneumatic nail gun, pneumatic palm sander, and circular saws

Maintains good housekeeping and always follows safety policies and procedures

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Ability to function well in a high-paced environment

Performs additional duties as requested or required

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

On-the-job training offered

Prior experience in operating heavy equipment preferred

Precast/construction experience preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be able to use various hand tools or controls

Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally

Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently

Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day

Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequently

WORKING CONDITIONS

Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements

Moderate to high risk of safety precautions

Moderate to high exposure to production environment

Wet, hot, humid, and wintry conditions

Ability to work outside year-round
