Our client is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead and oversee the operations of their Service Department in Edmonton, Alberta. This role is essential in ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to both internal and external customers, while fostering a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. You will play a key role in managing personnel, scheduling, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Service Department, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery.
Develop, implement, and monitor effective service processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Supervise and support service technicians, including training, development, and performance reviews.
Coordinate scheduling and workflow to ensure timely project completion and optimal department coverage.
Maintain all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles in proper working condition.
Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures for employees, contractors, and customers.
Represent the company professionally and ethically while maintaining confidentiality and strong internal relationships.
Identify and recommend opportunities for service improvement and customer experience enhancement.
Assist the Branch Manager in managing departmental expenses and resolving customer issues.
Ensure accurate invoicing and completion of service reports for all work orders.
Monitor job deficiencies and implement changes to improve shop performance.
