We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve equipment performance, minimize unplanned downtime, and enhance overall plant reliability. This role integrates asset management, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making to ensure optimal operation of automated and robotic systems.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute reliability and maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and performance.

Lead the implementation and sustainment of integrated operations platforms that unify asset management, production performance, and team collaboration.

Use the CMMS to track work orders, equipment history, and key reliability metrics.

Perform root cause failure analyses (RCFA) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Lead and support predictive maintenance programs, including vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.

Troubleshoot complex automation and robotics issues, collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.

Provide reliability and maintainability input for new capital projects involving automation or robotics.

Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and continuous improvement opportunities.

Partner with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to create and optimize asset care and preventive maintenance plans.

Standardize critical spare parts and manage equipment bills of materials (BOMs).

Develop and monitor reliability KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and OEE.

Train maintenance technicians on reliability best practices, robotic systems, diagnostics, and safe handling procedures.

Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Perform inspections, testing, and planned maintenance on facility systems and equipment.

Identify, document, and communicate technical issues, recommendations, and solutions to key stakeholders.

Utilize technology daily, including CMMS tools and Microsoft Office applications.

Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, and at least 5 years of industrial reliability or maintenance experience.

OR

Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in industrial maintenance or reliability, preferably in a regulated production environment.

Availability to work standard hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and provide after-hours or weekend support as needed.

Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and FMEA.

Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and total productive maintenance (TPM) principles.

Proven experience with CMMS software and predictive maintenance technologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and operations teams.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
