RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER

The Accounting Manager will manage daily accounting transactions (A/P, A/R, cash receipts, journal entries, grant allocations)

Prepare month-end accruals, adjusting entries, and internal reports for Controller review

The Accounting Manager will reconcile GL and balance sheet accounts with supporting schedules

Compile documentation and schedules for audits and grant reporting

Oversee work of the Accountant, including AP and Payroll processing

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER ROLE:

Must have a minimum 3 years' experience with the duties above in an accounting setting

Experience with non-profit accounting or a relevant degree

Payroll processing and experience generating financial statements are a big plus, but not a requirement

Pay is $70-75k, DOE
