ABOUT THE ROLE
Griswold Home Care for North San Diego is expanding our Urgent Response Team to serve older adults and adults with disabilities throughout San Diego County under our new County of San Diego Urgent In-Home Services program.
We are seeking experienced, reliable, and compassionate Home Care Aides (Care Partners) who thrive in fast-paced environments and can confidently respond to short-notice assignments.
A minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving experience is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide urgent in-home support including personal care, safety supervision, and light homemaking
Respond promptly to same-day or short-notice assignments (2–6 hour shifts)
Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate visit documentation via electronic system (EVV)
Communicate observations and updates to the office team in real time
Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and reliability at all times
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with California Department of Social Services (CDSS)
Current TB clearance per CDSS guidelines
Completed Live Scan background check
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
Smartphone with data plan for scheduling and EVV check-in/out
Minimum of 2 years professional caregiving experience
Hoyer lift or transfer experience preferred
Ability to lift/push/pull 40 lbs or more
High school diploma or GED
PRIMARY SERVICE AREA
Assignments occur throughout San Diego County.
