The Role

As Executive Assistant to the Group Company Secretary and supporting the Company Secretariat team, you’ll manage complex diaries, coordinate board and committee meetings and handle logistics. This is a busy, varied role at the heart of senior stakeholder engagement, requiring initiative, organisation, and a proactive approach to supporting the Boards and Directors.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage executive and administrative tasks such as expense management, preparing meeting minutes, document management and project support with minimal supervision. You will manage conflicting priorities whilst maintaining composure, be confident in using your creative diary management and influencing skills to ensure the most effective and productive use of time and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in everything you do.

Experience working with senior stakeholders or Directors is highly valued, and strong communication and grammar skills are essential for liaising with Directors and preparing key documentation. The ability to record discussion and actions at Monthly CoSec meetings and CoSec Senior Leadership Team meetings, whilst ensuring the team are accountable for any noted actions, is key. You will be an integral member of the team, facilitating team cohesion—for example, by organising Trustee off-site logistics and Board dinners.

Our values of integrity, community and alignment are the guiding principles that influence our behaviour. They help us make decisions and shape our relationships with others. They’re what we stand for. You will actively demonstrate our values, helping to create a safe environment, to place the needs of the community above oneself and, through a culture of ‘fair challenge’, align to the best interests of our members.
