With strong technical knowledge of fabrics, fit, and customization, this role provides expert guidance, supports the boutique team with MTM know-how, and ensures smooth coordination with the in-store tailor and HQ.
The MTM Specialist contributes directly to the client experience, developing loyalty and supporting the boutique in maintaining the highest standards of made-to-measure service.
Role responsibilities:
Deliver an exceptional level of service by advising clients on fabrics, proportions, and customization options.
Guide clients step by step through the MTM journey, from first consultation to final delivery, ensuring precision in measurements and excellence in fit.
Conduct fittings in collaboration with the in-store tailor, guaranteeing accuracy, comfort, and aesthetic harmony.
Manage MTM orders on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy of data entry, monitoring order status, and providing clients with timely updates.
Support the boutique team with technical expertise, sharing knowledge and providing guidance to ensure consistency in service quality.
Prepare and maintain all Sartoria Solomeo tools, catalogues, and materials in excellent condition, aligned with HQ standards.
Assist in the organization and execution of MTM events and client appointments, ensuring flawless operational support.
Maintain close communication with HQ to ensure timely resolution of order-related issues and to share feedback on products and client requests.
Work cross functionally with corporate partners including marketing, logistics, and visual merchandising to ensure success of MTM business in store.
Help minimize non-conformities by ensuring correct procedures are followed at every stage of the MTM process.
Contribute to client development by building trusted relationships through personalized service and post-sale follow-up.
Act as a brand ambassador by embodying the Maison’s values, style, and lifestyle during all client interactions.
Qualifications:
Experience in luxury retail, ideally in tailoring or made-to-measure services.
Strong technical skills in taking measurements, knowledge of fabrics, and understanding of fit and proportions.
High level of attention to detail, precision, and discretion.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create authentic client relationships.
Proactive and collaborative, able to support colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage complex orders.
Fluency in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
