We are seeking a Recruiter – Candidate Screening to join our Surrey office. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who can manage high-volume candidate pipelines while maintaining a professional and structured approach.
Position Overview
The Recruiter will focus on screening and managing international candidates by conducting daily outreach, interviews, and assessments. The role requires a high level of communication, organizational ability, and consistency in performance, with the expectation of 60–70 candidate calls daily . The Recruiter ensures each candidate receives clear communication, fair evaluation, and efficient progression through the recruitment cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Outreach & Screening
Place 60–70 outbound calls daily to international candidates across various time zones.
Respond promptly to candidate inquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
Ensure consistent follow-up calls to maintain engagement with active applicants.
Schedule and conduct first-round interviews to assess communication skills, professional background, and overall suitability.
Clearly explain job opportunities, requirements, and recruitment timelines to candidates.
Interview & Assessment
Evaluate candidates’ English communication proficiency and professional demeanor.
Assess candidates’ work history and skill sets against client requirements.
Record structured feedback after each call to support hiring decisions.
Candidate Process Management
Track and update all candidate interactions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) .
Maintain a well-organized, accurate pipeline of candidates.
Ensure candidates move seamlessly through subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
Proactively identify and escalate potential challenges (e.g., unresponsive candidates, qualification mismatches).
Collaboration & Reporting
Share daily candidate reports and insights with senior recruiters and account managers.
Support the recruitment team by building a steady pool of pre-screened, qualified candidates .
Meet and exceed daily/weekly call, interview, and submission targets .
Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance candidate engagement.
Qualifications and Skills
1–2 years of experience in recruitment, telesales, call center, or customer service (high-volume roles preferred).
Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to assess fluency and clarity quickly.
Comfort with making large volumes of outbound calls daily.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple candidate pipelines simultaneously .
Professional, patient, and culturally sensitive when dealing with international candidates.
Proficiency in ATS systems and communication platforms (Zoom, WhatsApp, Teams, etc.).
Target-driven with proven ability to achieve and exceed performance metrics.
