DescriptionSupervisory Responsibilities: NonePurpose: To administer the calibration program according to quality standards.

To be a permanent member of the APQP team and to research costs and purchase all inspection tooling and gauging.

Qualify product, monitor the manufacturing process and prevent non-conforming product from being inadvertently sold, installed or shipped.Essential Duties/Responsibilities: \nEnsure a safe work environment for self and others.

Follow all safety rules and regulations.

Demonstrate commitment to safety program.\nRepairs and calibrates all items as scheduled\nReviews production schedule to ensure tooling is ready for use\nMaintains Calibration data base to include all gauging\nMaintains Calibration tooling boxes in good order\nMay works with other departments, such as Quality, Process engineers, and ME's in developing gages and tooling for new projects\nMay maintain Inspection/Calibration Equipment as needed\nMay provides Inspection/Calibration support to all activities (PPAP, GR&R, SPC)\nMay Order all Inspection/Calibration related tooling and materials and track order status\nMay assist in maintaining Inspection Department Records and files\nMay perform 1st Article Inspections and documentation\nMay perform In-process Inspections and documentation\nAssists employees with inspection related problems\nMay coordinate Zeiss maintenance support\nMay develop, troubleshoot and run Zeiss programs for measurement of gages, prototype and production parts\nAccurately complete reports and all necessary paper work for the jobs\nUtilizes the 5-S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain) to maintain an orderly, clean and safe work area.\nActively participates in CIP events to improve the safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and procedures\nSupport and positively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement\nCommunicates with supervisor and co-workers in a professional manner \nPromote a positive atmosphere.

Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.\nWill be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.\n\nRequirementsMinimum Requirements: Education & Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nOne to two years in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 6 months in an inspection role using gaging and other applicable measurement equipment\n\nJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nAbility to vary working hours to meet calibration/inspection requirements\nAbility to work with small lettering on prints, intricate tooling, and computer monitors for extended periods\nAbility to work efficiently and effectively to complete assigned tasks on time\nRegular attendance\n\nTraining:OJT for Calibration Tech\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to sit, stand or walk for 100% of the workday\nAbility to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs, ad rarely lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to do repetitive movements (i.e.
