is currently seeking an Experienced Heavy Equipment (Utility) Operator in Butler, Georgia / Butler Georgia operations area, Georgia SMA reporting to the Plant Manager.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.Job Details:\nWages start at $21.00hr, Starting wage based on experience.

\nFulltime/Permanent \nDay Shift (6:35 A.M.

- 4:00 P.M.\nWeekend work may be required\nOvertime available along with extensive medical and retirement benefits\n\nJob Responsibilities: \nOperate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery.\nPerform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies\nPerform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management\nOperate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency\nProperly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment\nOther duties as assigned by management\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nUncompromising focus on safety excellence.\n1+ years of experience as a heavy equipment operator preferred.\nPrevious Quarry experience preferred.\nAble to do safety and maintenance inspections throughout the day.\nCapable of demonstrating equipment and troubleshooting knowledge.\nExperience working with crushers, conveyors and screens preferred.\nAbility to understand basic safety and work instruction.\nMust be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills required.\nGood organizational, scheduling and time management skills.\nWelding experience helpful along with general maintenance and repair abilities.\nExperience in heavy equipment operation a plus, but not required.\nTeam player mentality.\nWorking outdoors in varied weather conditions with the probability of dust, noise, heat, and cold.\nMust pass pre-employment drug testing.\n\nRogers Group provides extensive benefits, strong compensation, and a safe, drug-free working environment.As a Rogers Group employee, you will have access to our competitive company perks, including:\nMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance plus Health Savings Account with annual company contribution.\nCompany provided Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance.\nRetirement 401(k) with company contribution and match at one year of service.\nCompany provided Short- and Long-Term Disability.\nPaid Holiday's including Christmas shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.\nPaid vacation available after 180-day probationary period and accrued based on years of service.\nAnnual performance-based merit increases.\nCareer growth/advancement opportunities.\n\nRGI EEO StatementIt is the policy of Rogers Group, Inc.
