Flex Processing Machine Operator
Pay: $30.09/HR + $1.50/HR Shift Premium
Required Shift:
3rd Shift: Monday- Friday 11pm-730am
Flexible to weekends pending business needs
$1.50/HR shift premium
Job Purpose:
The Flex Processing Machine Operator is responsible for producing and monitoring production efficiently and safely using loaders, unloaders, fillers and waterbath equipment.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED
1+ year of manufacturing experience
Mechanical training or background
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).
Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping
Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment
Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environment
Ability to read, write and understand English
Able to handle hot and cold temperature environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or certification
Previous experience in filling
2+ years of manufacturing experience
What will be your Key Responsibilities?
Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, and pieces of manufacturing equipment including loaders, unloaders, fillers and waterbaths
Monitor activities on production lines: optimization, downtime, escalations, quality checks, waste reporting, maintenance, quality assurance, change overs, etc.
Run extruders in line with global standards, safety standards & monitoring regimes
Any ad hoc requests of the leadership team or site
