Electronics Kitter - Electronics Manufacturing

Our Client is a leading end-to-end contract electronics manufacturer, who specialise in transforming product ideas into reality for customers. Our client is seeking an experienced Electronics Kitter. Your primary responsibility is to prepare and organise component kits that are used in the SMT assembly process. These kits contain all the necessary electronic components that are required for a specific production run. The operator identifies and verifies each component against a bill of materials (BOM) to ensure accuracy. This includes checking part numbers, quantities, and specifications to make sure the correct components are pulled from inventory.

Key Responsibilities - Electronics Kitter

Ensure all kits are correct

Ensure all de-kitting is controlled before returning to Stores or to the stock shelves

Control all shortages directly with the Stores team

Follow the SMT process flow

Ensure all work is carried out and completed to specified levels of workmanship, within suitable timeframes

Report any problems with kitting or processing to the Team Leader or Manager immediately

Ensure compliance with safety regulations (including ESD requirements) and maintain a clean work environment

Be flexible to perform other tasks and duties as required, including continuous improvements..

Qualifications, Skills and Education Requirements

Electronics Kitter - Essential:

Capable of accurately reading and selecting kits and reels based on their numeric reference numbers

Excellent attention to detail, able to identify mistakes and check own work

Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and managers

Capable of working independently and using self-initiative

Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT systems

Committed to self-development and vocational training in manufacturing

Physically fit and able to move, twist, lift and carry. .

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 07:30 am-16:00 pm, Friday: 07:30 am-13:30 pm
